Building and Testing this Plan

This plan was built and tested by us, here’s how we built it –

Start by screwing the 16.5″ pieces together like this, build 2.

Next you will measure, mark and attach the back leg to each support.

For the seat I attached the front board first making sure everything is square and flush and then I added the back seat board and finally the middle.

Once the seat boards were attached I flipped the project on it’s back to screw in the back boards, I started with the top board first and made sure it was level and flush. Then I added the other board and kept the spacing consistent all the way across. Pre starting your screws and using clamps will make this step go much more smoothly.

I would recommend sanding and finishing your boards prior to assembly. Then you can come back and touch up or fill any spots that need it.
