After a long hiatus, I got back to the apartment build by completing the roof/ceiling joists. The entire structure is around 22′ wide with a center dividing wall. 2x8x12 joists lapping in the middle are enough for 12′ or less spans, allowing for storage above. Only household belongings will be stored above, not heavy bunks of lumber or machines.

Also completed, but not shown due to low light inside, were the rough door openings and stair attachment points for the bathroom.

Finally, the two entry doors were installed.
