I’ve been wanting a solid, small trailer platform to modify for our trails. Something I can use in conjunction with different platform attachments for different tasks. A long pole trough to load up on the trails and bring back to chainsaw into small firewood rounds. Maybe a platform with bench seats mounted for a “hay ride” of sorts through our trails. Maybe a setup to hold a log or two to extract from deep in the woods.

Nathan needed some wood and mentioned having an old, small trailer in need of some TLC. He picked up a bunk of wood, and we picked up the trailer. I’m not sure when I’ll be able to give the trailer some attention, but it’s on the list of stuff to do.

Speaking of stuff to do.. Milling through the never ending orignal batch of logs in the log yard is always on the to-do list. We cut seven more 10′ logs into 6×6 beams and ran all of the 3″- offcuts through the woodchipper. Wood chips are incredibly valuable for us during the rainy season. I wish we had chipped more over the summer.
