Every day brings more knowledge and experience to the table. Most of the time, that means plans change based on new information. Our outside focus is shifting closer to the shop.

I’ve decided to turn the west side of the shop into a dedicated log yard. With the sawmill under the lean-to, the best current plan is to optimize that side of the shop for logs and lumber. How it looks doesn’t matter right now. Organized function is what I’m after. When the house is closer to a reality, we can re-evaluate how we want this side of the shop to look.

The east side of the shop is a clean slate with convenient and easy access. Jamie will take over this space as a raised-bed garden area. Focusing on plants that don’t require full sunlight. Primarily leafy greens, root vegetables, and certain herbs.
