Good morning! Before starting the first project in the new shop, I walked around and gave a brief overview of the overall status of various items. Rain delays, per usual. But with the shop setup, I can finally make sawdust inside.

In real time, the project is complete and airing out in front of a fan for a few days. New tractor cylinders arrived, but getting hydraulic fittings and/or lines made locally seems to be a bottleneck. I’m also trying to work with the Mississippi Forestry Commission to have a Forester and Wildlife Biologist come out to the property and inspect for pests and pathogens. I’m really looking forward to being schooled with his visit. Of course, rain has been delaying his visit.
