I forecasted this project poorly. Well, was it me or the people who provide weather forecasts? No rain today….except it rains buckets. Lots of rain today…except it doesn’t even sprinkle. Make your mind up! I had four loads of concrete washout delivered so I could complete the lean-to area. Unfortunately, half of the delivery was waaaaaay too wet to spread evenly on day one. I lost track of how many days I tinkered with the space. Ultimately, I was able to get it spread good enough to start parking in the space again. I have to keep reminding myself that any type of landscaping or dirt work is much more difficult and frustrating when done during the wet season.

We’re making a little progress organizing the shop here and there. I’m still holding out on finding a small forklift for the shop before I set up the space fully. I’m getting close to the breaking point, though. I’m trying to find an older, small forklift that doesn’t have a massive lift capacity but also has a 3-stage mast.
