PROYAMA chainsaws, 26cc top handle, 66cc big saw: https://amzn.to/4h0c7b0

I’m beginning to find out that chainsaws are like routers; there’s no such thing as too many. After some research, I found that PROYAMA seems to be a good g-to budget brand for chainsaws. I contacted PROYAMA and asked if they would send me two saws for a challenge. Can the PROYAMA equivalent saws replace my saws through this summer? I sure hope so, as they are a fraction of the price of the big names, and I’ve got a lot of cutting to do.

My big saw is a Husqvarna Rancher 460 (60cc) with a 24″ bar. I’m going to see if the PCS66 (66cc) with both a 24″ and 20″ bar can replace it for all of the tree felling and large log cutting.

For smaller stuff, I mainly used my Stihl HT 134 pole saw (36cc). When limbing a downed tree, the pole saw is pretty handy because it allows me to make many cuts with less foot movement. However, it is pretty heavy, at 13 lbs, and there are times when it would be easier if I had a top-handle saw so that I could free up the other hand to push or bend material away while cutting it. I’ve hung up the HT 134 for the summer and will be using the PCS26 (26cc) with a 12″ bar. So far, the PCS26 top-handle saw has been impressive.
