How much wood would a wood chipper chip if a wood chipper could chip wood? I’ll tell you! A wood chipper would chip as much wood as a wood chipper could if a wood chipper could chip wood. With that said, we chipped a pile of offcuts. It was glorious.

We had an unexpected opportunity to get more firewood, so we strapped our boots on and burned some calories. Jamie and I got two more loads of red oak firewood. None of this can be burned this year, but it’s a good start for next year! Every piece of good-quality firewood or logs that I can get for free from my local community is that much less hardwood I need to cut from my own property.
