I had a plan for what to do during these two days but an opportunity struck. A gentleman contacted me via one of my Facebook Marketplace sales posts to offer a bunch of red oak and hickory logs to me for free. I drove to his place to find a neatly stacked pile of red oak logs, a mound of neatly stacked red oak for firewood, and a few monster hickory trees that will be an adventure for another day.
